CITYBOYZ EVENTS AT GAY DAYS ORLANDO 2009

Day One:

GayDays 2009 was quite the success. It was a sunny Florida day as I drove to Orlando with my club music full blast. I arrived at my hotel to be greeted by two handsome members from Team Cityboyz (Steve and Chris). It was fantastic to have all of this creative energy in one room. Finally Erin (Beyonce) arrived to complete Team Cityboyz.

Now it is time to get to work. Oh so much to do, contact models, club management, and set up at the club for the event. All of the garments and accessories from Whittall & Shon, Unico, Sweat Under Gear, CruzAzur, and Go Softwear looked amazing. Each garment was well designed, and contoured to fit the physique of our models. Oops…..I almost forgot to eat. Nothing like some KFC….lol! Ok now it’s time to get ready. Everyone is looking fierce. Time to get to the club. However, we need to get in the mood, get that iPod going Chris G.

We arrived at the club only to be greeted by the friendliest staff members (Bryson, Greg, Angelica, Bobby). Erin and Steve were in charge of organizing the models for changing of garments and order of show. Chris and I were responsible for videotaping and photography of the event. The crowd was full of high energy. There was even a special appearance by Geir Ness of Norway. You may know him for his fragrances Geir and Laila sold at Nordstrom. He was in town for his book signing, and is a big fan of Sweat Under Gear. He absolutely loved the Cityboyz fashion show. The crowd was drooling as the models worked the stage. Pose for your lives, and don’t fu** it up…lol! Hey you got to throw a little RuPaul in there. It just would not be a fashion show without it. Goodie was showing off his “goodies” in Unico Natural, Peter had assets for days in his Sweat trunk, and Steve flashed that gorgeous smile wearing a CruzAzur rosary. The fashion show was a success. Now it is time to have a drink, and get our party on!

Day Two:

Yawn…time to rise and shine for early morning photoshoot. Everyone has arrived on time, and the landscaped pool looks welcoming. These models came to WORK!!!!!!!!! However, we are not done yet. We have to head over to the studio for more shots. I need a drink. Let’s head over to Café Tu Tu Tango….YAY! Time to get the gift bags ready. Once again, the Pulse staff so generously lended a helping hand, and offered a drink. I never say no to good mixed drink J We worked quickly, and cohesively to get those bags stuffed. It was like a stampede when the bags were released to throngs of partygoers. Finally, it is time to get our party on yet again J
